Mission/Vision

Mission Statement
 
The mission of the Graduate Program in Language and Culture at the Federal University of Bahia (PPLinC/UFBA) is to produce and spread high quality and cutting edge knowledge in different domains of Linguistics, Language and Culture. Our focus is to produce and qualify skilled individuals able to overcome challenges and meet the social, political and economical demands of our contemporary societies (especially in university/school level instruction as well as in applied and/or theoretical scientific research).
 
Vision Statement
 
The Graduate Program in Language and Culture at the Federal University of Bahia (PPLinC/UFBA) aims for national and international recognition as a center of excellence in producing and disseminating scientific knowledge as well as in preparing lecturers and researchers in different domains of Linguistics, Languages and Culture. Therefore, our actions foresee a growing international integration strongly committed  to 
 
social, local and regional demands (especially in respect to high quality education).
